I’m a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Associate Professional Counselor who has a passion in working with people through their family building journeys.   

My Educational and Professional Background

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Practitioner: Carolyn specializes in ACT, helping clients cope with challenges while living fuller lives. She approaches each client with an open mind, striving to understand their unique life experiences.

    • Individual and Couples Therapy: Carolyn has extensive training in both individual and couples therapy, with a focus on the unique impacts of the family-building process on both partners. She also specializes in helping clients explore and process the grief associated with infertility.

    • Emory University (2006): Earned a bachelor’s degree.

    • Career in Nonprofit Sector: Worked for many years in the nonprofit sector before deciding to transition into the health and human services field as a professional counselor.

    • Georgia State University: Obtained a Master’s in Science, graduating from the Clinical Rehabilitation Program.
